Hospitality - Carr Church is a small congregation endeavoring to become more multi-cultural, multi-racial, and hospitable. We welcome all to worship, pray, study, break bread, and share fellowship with us. Carr contributes a tenth of our two annual Brunswick stews to feed the hungry in our community. Unity and Outreach - Carr shares our building with two churches: the The Shepherd's House United Methodist Church of people primarily from Zimbabwe, Africa; and Harvest Light Ministries, a non-denominational, predominately African-American congregation. We also share our building on Sunday afternoons with the English as Second Language folks from The Summit Church, and we share office space with the Religious Coalition for a Non-Violent Durham.
Our minister of outreach is Rev. Amanda Fleishman, who leads an awesome Sunday school for children at 11:45 a.m. on Sundays. Come join us!
